The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant and stolen a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- and 5 sovereign jewels. Hence, the case. 3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent, he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he was wrongly implicated in this case. 4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the defacto complainant is a practicing advocate and a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- and 5 sovereigns of jewels were taken away from his house.
