Case is called. There is no representation on behalf of the party-in-person petitioner. 2. Heard the learned Brief Holder on behalf of the State of Uttarakhand, and the learned CGSC. 3. Petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :
“In light of the facts and submissions above, the petitioner most respectfully prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction, thereby:
1. Directing the Respondents to expeditiously pave the road at the location in the Upper Tapovan area of the Tehri-Garhwal District, Uttarakhand, specified in paragraph number 2 of this petition. 2. Directing the Respondents to allocate adequate funds for paving the said road. 3. Directing the Respondents to file a status report with this Hon'ble Court within a specified time frame, detailing the steps taken towards the paving and maintenance of the road, including the allocation of necessary funds. 4. Passing any other order or direction that this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice.”
4. The reliefs sought for would reveal that the petitioner is seeking for an amenity in the form of pavement, which would enhance the security of the public at large. 1

In that view, this Court is of the considered opinion that the instant Writ Petition could be disposed of by directing respondent nos. 2 to 4 to consider the instant Writ Petition as a representation, and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within an outer limit of four weeks from today, and file a compliance report into the Court. 6. Accordingly, the instant Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent nos.

The Writ Petition stands ordered accordingly. Office to list the matter accordingly for reporting compliance.
