- 2 - 06.02.2025 by the Deputy Commissioner, Sirmour, under Section 146 of the Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act,
1984. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Civil), Shillai, District Sirmour, has been appointed as the inquiry officer. It has been stated that the proceedings are likely to conclude within two months. In view of the above stated position, we are of the considered opinion that the State is already looking into the allegations of misconduct against respondent No.6 and has taken proactive steps, including suspension and initiation of a regular inquiry.
4.
Accordingly, we find that the present petition has been rendered infructuous, in view of the steps already taken by the State.
5.
Resultantly, we dispose of the present Public Interest Litigation with liberty to the petitioners to agitate for their grievances in accordance with law, if aggrieved later.
6.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
