By this petition, petitioner herein has alleged non-compliance of the order dated 21.07.2025, whereby, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, was directed to consider and decide the petitioner’s representation dated 25.06.2024. 2. Compliance report stands filed, it is stated that the representation of the petitioner has been considered and a detailed consideration order dated 09.06.2026 has been passed, wherein it is stated: Now, therefore after considering the representation, reports of the Tehsildar Baramulla & available records of ongoing acquisition of Srinagar-Baramulla-Uri road, it is held that land under Survey No. 200 has not been taken for widening/construction of Srinagar-Baramulla-Uri National Highway at Sheerinabad. Consequently, no claim of compensation under the acquisition proceedings is found admissible in favour of the applicant. The representation is accordingly disposed off being devoid of merits with regard to the claim for acquisition & compensation of the land for widening of National Highway. 3. Respondents have complied with the order dated 21.07.2025 in its letter and spirit. 4. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the consideration order dated 09.06.2026, if he so desires.
