Heard Mr. Ajaya Kumar Barik, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. R. K. Gupta, Additional Advocate General for the State/respondent/s and Mr. Anuroop Panda, learned counsel for the respondent No.5. 2. By way of ther writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: “10.1.That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.5 to restrain for construction of water pipe line on the above land till compensation made to the petitioner. 10.2. That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents authority i.e. respondent No.2 & 3 to decide the representation Annexure P-7 which is still pending before authority regarding compensation to give petitioner from the respondent No.5. 10.3 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents authority i.e. respondent No.5 to reinstate in service in said company in accordance with law. 10.4 Any other relief, which may be deemed, fit by this Hon'ble Court just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case may also be provided in favour of the petitioner.” 3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has filed a representation dated 05.03.2025 (Annexure - P/7) before the SDO, Gharghoda and the Collector, Raigarh in respect of grant of compensation in lieu of acquisition of his land. The 3 concerned SDO and the Collector are directed to consider the same and pass an appropriate order in respect of grievance of the petitioner and if the grievance of the petitioner is seems to be genuine one, they may pass award in respect of acquisition of land of the petitioner preferably within a period of 60 days. 4. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, the concerned SDO and the Collector are required to pass an appropriate order on merits in accordance with law. 5.
