This Court, vide order dated 14.02.2024, passed in MCRC No. 694 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Ishwar Nayak had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur, District-Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 04.03.2025 has requested for grant of RAJSHEKHAR SONI Digitally signed by RAJSHEKHAR SONI 2 six months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that at present, the statements of 2 witnesses have already been recorded. On 22 November 2024, an order was given to issue arrest warrants against accused Ishwar Nayak and Loknath in the absence of the accused. Arrest warrants are being issued against both the accused in the case continuously. The case has been scheduled for the appearance of the accused and the disposal of the case is likely to take time and lots of efforts are being made to conclude the case as soon as possible. Hence the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some more time therefore, he prays for grant of six months time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
