Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2. By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- "(i). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, directing and commanding the Opposite Party Number 2, to forthwith release the post retiral dues of the petitioner such as Pension, Gratuity, Group Insurance Scheme etc, along with 18% interest for delayed payment, from the date of retirement of the petitioner, i.e. 31.10.2024, till the date of its actual payment. (ii), issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus, directing and commanding the Opposite Party Number 2, to consider and decide the representation dated 02.04.2025, (as contained in Annexure Number 10), to release the post retiral dues of the petitioner." After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer to the extent that the representation of the petitioner may be directed to be decided by respondent no.2. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. Perused the record. Considering the above, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move a fresh representation to respondent no.2 i.e. The Deputy Director, Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, Pallia Kala, Lakhimpur Kheri within two weeks' from today. If the petitioner submits a fresh representation, the respondent no.2 shall decide the same within four weeks' thereafter, by passing a speaking and reasoned order.
