By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a direction to opposite party no. 2 to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer from District Bijnor to District Baghpat on compassionate grounds. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is presently posted in District Bijnor. The petitioner is married to Mr. Praveen Kumar who was appointed on 01.12.2019 on the post of Constable Police and presently he is posted at Police Line, District Baghpat. It has been further submitted that in view of para 5(iii) of transfer policy of the State dated 11.06.2024, contained in Annexure No.7 to the petition, the case of the petitioner is liable to be considered for being posted along with her husband. Learned Chief Standing Counsel conceded the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner. With the consent of the parties, the petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation before respondent no. 2 within one week from today. In case, such a representation is submitted by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and decided by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a further period of one month.
