Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 to 4. By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- "a. Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding the respondent no.4 to exempt the petitioner from the mandatory three months rigorous training and consider the case of petitioner for transfer from Lucknow to Lakhimpur Kheri. b. Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding the respondent no.4 to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 05/02/2025, contained as Annexure No.1 to this writ petition, within a stipulated time frame, in the interest of justice." After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer to the extent that the representation of the petitioner may be directed to be decided by respondent no.4. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. Perused the record. Considering the above, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move a fresh representation to respondent no.4 i.e. Commandant, 01 Battalion, U.P. Special Security Force, Transport Nagar, Lucknow within two weeks' from today. If the petitioner submits a fresh representation, the respondent no.4 shall decide the same within four weeks' thereafter, by passing a speaking and reasoned order.
