GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: ORDER: The present writ petition is filed seeking the following relief: “to issue a Writ or Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents, more particularly, the respondents 4 and 5 herein in not allowing the petitioners to discharge their duties with the 4th respondent school without there being any cause, as illegal, arbitrary and also oppose to all cannons of justice, consequentially, direct respondents 4 and 5 herein to allow the petitioners to discharge their respective duties as Head 2 CGR, J. W.P.No.8768 of 2025 Cook Assistant Cook Chowkidar Watch Women with the 4th respondent school forthwith and to pass….” 2. Heard Smt. A.Varalakshmi, learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education for respondents 1 to 3; and Sri Sunkara Charan, learned counsel, representing Smt.Revanuru Sudharani, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 4 to 6. 3. Grievance of the petitioners is that, though they are working at A.P. Model School Girls Hostel in Lakkireddypalli Village, as daily wage workers in different categories, are not being allowed to discharge their duties, hence, they approached this Court. 4. This Court, by order, dated 03.04.2025, directed respondents 4 and 5 to continue petitioners in their duties. 5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 4 to 6 has placed on record written instructions, dated 04.04.2025, stating that the 2nd respondent has issued Notification No.02/KGBV/ APSS/2024, dated 04.10.2024, for recruitment of Type-III and Type-IV vacant posts, pursuant to which, even petitioners have also applied for and that process is pending finalisation, though petitioners were continued to discharge their duties even till today, they have 3 CGR, J. W.P.No.8768 of 2025 approached this Court. It is also stated that till final selection is concluded, petitioners will not be discontinued. 6. In view of the aforesaid written instructions and that considering the fact that the petitioners, who are working only on daily wage and also participated in the selection process, till the selection process is complete and appropriate appointments are made, they are entitled to continue in the service. 7. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to continue the petitioners in the posts in which they are working on daily wage basis, till conclusion of selection process in pursuance to the aforesaid Notification, dated 04.10.2024. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
