Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:27742 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5184 of 2025 Petitioner :- Prabhat Kumar Singh And 8 Others Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Madhyamik Edu. Deptt. Lko. And 7 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rakesh Kumar Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing counsel for the respondents. The petition has been filed with the following main prayer:-
"A writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party nos. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 to consider the case of the petitioners for providing the Gratuity to them after counting the previous services rendered by them in the Adult Education Department as all the petitioners have been given other post retiral dues after counting the previous services rendered in the Adult Education Department and for that the petitioners have given the representations to the opposite parties as contained in Annexure No. 5 to this Writ Petition." After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice if the petitioners are permitted to submit fresh representations raising their grievances to respondent no. 2, with a direction to decide the same within a stipulated period. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. Considering the above, the petitioners are directed to submit fresh individual representations before respondent no. 2 within two weeks from today. If such representations are submitted, respondent no. 2 shall decide the same within a further period of four weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 12.5.2025/R.C. Digitally signed by :- RAM CHANDER YADAV High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
