By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following main reliefs :- "(I). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to treat the petitioner as deemed regularised on Group'D' post from the date the persons junior to the petitioner namely Sarva Sri Neeraj Kumar Srivastava, Jamuna prasad and Mahavir were regularised under the provisions of the Regularisation Rules, 2001 and allow him the salary regularly in the regular pay scale of group D post in alternate." It appears that by efflux of time, the petitioner has lost interest in the matter to pursue the case as such this petition has rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition being infructuous is consigned to record. Interim order, if any, stands discharged.
