KARRI MURALI KRISHNA The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondents in providing police protection to petitioner life and property is arbitrary 2 illegal and violation of Art 21 and 300 A of the Constitution of India and consequently to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the life of petitioner and property for an extent in Sy.No. 236/2 an extent of Ac.0-32 cents (2) Sy.No.231/2 an extent of Ac.0- 52 (3) Sy.No.238/1 an extent of Ac.2-32 cents total Ac.3-16 cents called Cheruvu Polam situated Patrunivalasa Village Srikakulam Rural Mandal Srikakulam District as the injunction is in existence by an order dated 29.05.2020 in I.A.No.1 of 2020 in A.S.No.883 of 2011” 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the unofficial respondents would submit that as per the order passed in I.A.No.1 of 2020 in A.S.No.883 of 2011, the petitioner has obtained order of injunction. Thereafter, the Appeal Suit No.883 of 2011 was dismissed and the petitioner has preferred special leave petition before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the same was also dismissed. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cause of action survives in this matter. 5. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of as no cause of action survives. There shall be no order as to costs.
