The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :- "(i). Issue order or direction to commanding and directing the Opposite party no. 1 to decide the pending suit bearing Regular Suit No. 39 of 1973, Sardaar Mathura Singh and others Vs. Altaf Rasool, at an early date after hearing the parties concerned, in a given time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Considering the fact that the suit is pending since 1973, it is directed that the trial court shall endeavour to decide the aforesaid pending suit with all expedition, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of copy of this order. 4.
