Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:27302 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5165 of 2025 Petitioner :- Archana Bharti Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy. Bal Vikas Evam Pushtahar U.P. Lko. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ajay Kumar,Anand Kumar Rai,Rajeev Shukla Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. In view of the proposed order being passed, notices to respondent No.5 is dispensed with. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for State-respondent Nos.1 to 4. By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider her appointment on the post of Anganwadi Karyakarti with a further prayer for issuance of writ of Certiorari quashing the selection of respondent No.5 on the post of Anganwadi Karyakarti. Learned standing counsel, on the basis of written instructions which are taken on record, has submitted that the petitioner is an APL category candidate and on the basis of academic merit she is at second place however, the respondent No.5 Smt. Roli has been selected on the basis of her BPL category who has secured 10.563 marks and thus, has been given first priority in the selection in view of the Government Order dated 21.03.2023. Perused the record. It is not disputed that petitioner is an APL category candidate and respondent belongs to BPL category. It is also not disputed that the Government Order dated 21.03.2023 which provides guidelines for selection on the post of Anganwadi karyakarti gives first priority to the candidate belonging to BPL category thus, there appears to be no illegality in the impugned selection. In view of above, the petition being devoid of merits is accordingly dismissed.
