Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:28496-DB Court No. - 2 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 4417 of 2025 Petitioner :- Janki Devi Respondent :- Addl. Commissioner Judicial Ayodhya Division Ayodhya And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Rajendra Pratap Singh,Ayushi Dixit,Jyoti Singh,Rudra Pratap Singh Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Rajan Roy,J. Hon'ble Om Prakash Shukla,J. Heard. The petitioner appears to be aggrieved by the use of word 'mratyoparant' in an order dated 04.02.2023 passed by the learned Additional Commissioner (Judicial), Ayodhya Division, Ayodhya in proceedings under Section 210 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 and wants correction thereof, however, learned Standing Counsel says that the word was used in the Revision filed by the petitioner. In any case, this is hardly a matter where a Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India should be filed for the relief prayed for. The appropriate remedy if at all would have been under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty aforesaid. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with liberty to pursue other remedies as per law. (Om Prakash Shukla,J.) (Rajan Roy,J.)
