Mr. Balram Sharma, DSGI, for the respondent. CMP No.27358 of 2025 Following order was passed in this matter on 24.02.2026:- “Learned Deputy Solicitor General of India has placed on record instructions by way of an e-mail from Registrar, Central University of H.P. alongwith compendium of documents and on that basis submits that judgment in question has been implemented and all necessary orders towards implementation of judgment have already been issued by the respondent. The arrears due to the petitioners in terms thereof shall be released to the petitioners alongwith salary for the month of February, 2026 i.e. in March, 2026. Learned DSGI further submits that seniority list of Professors shall also be placed on record by the next date of hearing. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners seeks time to have instructions. In view of the office instructions and the documents placed on record, list on 05.03.2026 for overseeing the compliance.” Pursuant to above order, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India has placed on record a compendium of documents including office order dated 19.01.2026 with respect to grant of upward placement/movement to the petitioners alongwith other academic staff, office letter dated 03.03.2026 and a separate computation sheet with respect to the arrears admissible & paid to the petitioners as also the department-wise seniority list of the petitioners for the post of Professor. Learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have objection to deduction of 4% Cess by the respondents from the arrears admissible to them. In view of the documents now placed on record, the present application to stand disposed of. Petitioners shall, however, be at liberty to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for the redressal of their surviving grievances, if any, including against the computation of amount and their entitlement for 4% Cess deducted by the respondents from the arrears due to them.
