The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the inaction of the Respondents in not making payment of Rs.12,70,605/- for the work executed by the Petitioner i.e., “laying of damaged CC road from Hariswami Matam Temple to Vanka in Yerramreddypalli village of Pulivendula Municipality” by Agreement No.92/2023-24, dated 07.11.2023 as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent Municipality passed on the Written Instructions signed by the Commissioner, Pulivendula Municipality, wherein the agreement and execution of work were admitted. It was also stated that measurements were recorded in M-book and bills were raised for gross amount of Rs.14,55,624/- and net amount of Rs.12,70,605/- was uploaded in CFMS Portal with token number 2024-1178408 which is pending for fund clearance. 3. Since the execution of work and the approval of the bill are not in dispute as per the Written Instructions filed by the learned 3 Standing Counsel, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with the following direction: i) The Respondents are directed to make the payment of the amount due to the Petitioner within a period of Four months from today. ii) There shall be no order as to costs.
