Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 4. 2. Notice to respondent no. 5 is dispensed with in view of the proposed order. 3. By means of this petition, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking the following reliefs: "i. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding the opp. party no.2 i.e. District Magistrate, District Gonda to enquire the entire selection process, for the post of Angaan Badi Karykatri at Block-Rupaideeh, District Gonda and cancel the appointment of Kavita Devi Gautam (Opp. Party no.5) from the post of Angaan Badi Karykatri, at Block- Rupaideeh, District Gonda, in the interest of justice. ii. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding the opp. party no.2 i.e. District Magistrate, District Gonda to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 23.04.2025, contained as Annexure No.6 to this writ petition, in the interest of justice. iii. Issue any other writ order or direction in the nature and manner, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, proper and just in the circumstances of the case. iv. Allow the petition with cost." 4. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of written instructions, has submitted that a complaint was received against the petitioner regarding her income certificate issued by the Tehsildar, Sadar, Gonda. After due investigation, the said certificate was cancelled. Consequently, the application of the petitioner, Ram Dulari, was rejected by the selection committee. As a result, respondent no. 5, Kavita Devi Gautam, who was second in the preference list with 5.5 merit marks under the APL category, was selected by the selection committee. The selected candidate has joined the post of Anganwadi Karyakatri on 23.04.2025. 5. In view of the aforesaid instructions and considering Clause IV of the Government Order dated 21.03.2023, since the income certificate of the petitioner has been cancelled by the Tehsildar, Sadar, Gonda, her candidature has rightly been cancelled, and accordingly, no interference is warranted in the present writ petition. 6.
