The present petition has been filed by the petitioner stating that the petitioner being a senior citizen is being harassed by his son and daughter-in-law, for which an complaint has been made on 19.03.2025 to the District Magistrate, Lucknow. 3. Considering the mandate of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, the present petition is disposed of directing the District Magistrate to ensure that suitable orders shall be passed after considering the grievances of the petitioner in terms of the provisions contained under the Senior Citizens Act, 2007 expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from today. 4. The necessary compliance of the provisions shall be ensured by the District Magistrate, Lucknow.
