A RAVINDRA BABU (CENTRAL GOVT COUNSEL) SRK, J WP No.9094 of 2025 3 The Court made the following ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of respondent Nos.4 and 5 in not rectifying/correcting the petitioner’s name as “C. Daniel Rathnakara Chakravarthi” instead of “CDR Chakravarthi” in Central Board of Secondary Education, Senior School Certificate Marks Statement-cum-Certificate, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. This Court, on 02.05.2025, passed the following order. “Heard Sri G. Ramesh Babu, learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner, Sri A. Ravindra Babu, learned Counsel for Union of India, Sri T.D. Phani Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for CBSE and Sri T.Sanjeeva Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue for the Respondent No.7 2. Sri T.D. Phani Kumar, learned Counsel representing Respondent Nos.3 & 4, namely CBSE Board would submit that the Application has been received by the Board and the Board has responded by sending an E-mail indicating the Petitioner to furnish the required documents. He would also submit that after sending the E-mail to the concerned School, there has not been any response. 3. Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner would submit that though the E-mail has been sent SRK, J WP No.9094 of 2025 4 to the School, namely Kendriya Vidyalaya School, New RIMS, Kadapa (Respondent No.6), the School has not conveyed the content of the E-mail to the Writ Petitioner so far. 4. Learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner would submit that the Writ Petitioner would approach the School and obtain the copy of the E-mail and do the needful. 5. In this view of the matter, let the Writ Petitioner submit the documents to the Kendriya Vidyalaya School, New RIMS, Kadapa (Respondent No.6), within two weeks from today. 6. The Kendriya Vidyalaya School, New RIMS, Kadapa (Respondent No.6) is directed to communicate the documents supplied by the Writ Petitioner to the Respondent Nos.3 & 4 within a week thereafter. 7. Upon receipt of the documents, Respondent Nos.3 & 4 are directed to process the same within a period of six weeks thereafter. 8. List the matter on 10.07.2025. 9. On the next date of listing, Sri T.D. Phani Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.3 & 4, shall submit the action taken Report in this regard.” 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.3 and 4 SRK, J WP No.9094 of 2025 5 submitted that pursuant to the said orders of this Court the name of the Writ Petitioner was corrected in the relevant certificate. In view of the same, no further orders are necessary to be passed in this Writ Petition. 4. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
