Learned counsel for the respondent has placed on record internal office communication dated 15.07.2025 from the Regional Manager, HRTC, Pathankot, addressed to respondent No.1 and on that basis submits that entire amount of Death-cum-Retirement Gratuity due to the petitioner has been paid to him vide cheque dated
15.07.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that leave encashment and interest on account of delayed payment of retiral benefits still remains to be paid.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the aforesaid benefits shall also be paid to the petitioner within three weeks from today.

In view of office communication dated 15.07.2025 and submission made by learned counsel for the respondent, present proceedings are closed with directions to the respondent to discharge their remaining liability by paying the leave encashment and interest on delayed payment of retiral benefits to the petitioner within three weeks, as undertaken by the respondent, on or before 12.08.2025. However, petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for redressal of his surviving grievances, if any. Notice issued to the respondent is discharged. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, to also stand disposed of.
