(Oral) Applicants Aryan and Praveen are in judicial custody in Case Crime/FIR No. 686 of 2024, under Sections 109, 115(2), 118(1), 118(2), 191(3), 333, 351(2), 352 & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, P.S. Patelnagar, District Dehradun. They have sought their release on bail 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. It is argued that the co-accused Arjun having similar role has already been granted bail; the role of assaulting is on the co- accused Dharmveer. 4. Learned State Counsel admits this fact. But, he would submit that one of the witnesses have also stated that the applicant Aryan hit the injured. 5. On a query by the Court to the learned State Counsel, he would submit that, according to the person whose thumb was amputated, it was the co-accused Dharmveer, who hit him. 2 6. Having considered, this Court is of the view that it is a case fit for bail and the applicants deserve to be enlarged on bail. 7. The bail application is allowed. 8. Let the applicants be released on bail, on their executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties, each of the like amount, by each one of them, to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
