Also heard Mr. K K Parasar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This application has been filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner, namely, Bikash Singh has prayed for releasing him on bail, after he was arrested in Page No.# 2/2 connection with Pragjyotishpur P.S. Case No. 54/2025. 3. Intermediate quantity of narcotic drugs was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 4. Today is the 90th day of detention of the petitioner in judicial custody. The charge sheet has not yet been filed. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 6. This Court is of the opinion that the petitioner is entitled to default bail. 7. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 8. It is hereby directed that the petitioner namely, Bikash Singh, who was arrested in connection with Pragjyotishpur P.S. Case No. 54/2025, shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Kamrup (Metro), Guwahati.
