The present Application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed for regular in connection with the Case Crime No. 759 of 2024, registered at Kotwali Roorkee, District Haridwar. 2. The applicant Salauddin is in judicial custody for the offence under Section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007. 3. On receiving a secret information on 25.12.2024, police party raided an under constructed house. There were 3-4 people in that house. The 2025:UHC:617 2 named accused Nawab was identified by the police party. Seeing the police party, they all managed to escape from the spot. The police party recovered 160 kg. beef and cutting equipments from the spot. 4. Heard Mr. Mohd. Safdar, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Joshi, learned A.G.A. for the State. 5. Mr. Mohd. Safdar, Advocate, has contended that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present matter. He was not present at the spot. Nothing was recovered from his possession. The named accused Nawab alias Jammu has been granted anticipatory bail. Applicant is a student of IIIrd year of Paramedical Course B.M.R.I.T. He does not have any criminal antecedents. 6. Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Joshi, learned A.G.A. has opposed the Bail Application orally. 6. 7. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion as to the merit of the case, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves bail at this stage. 8.
