Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Nitin Srivastava, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.5 and 6- Bank of India and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. Sri Nitin Srivastava, learned counsel for the Bank of India, on the basis of instructions, has stated that the CC limit fixed in favour of the petitioner by the Bank has not been frozen and the facility created in his favour is operative as per the Bank norms. It is further informed that the subsidy amount which was to be remitted by the State has also been received by the Bank, therefore, the CC limit remains intact as such the grievance in the present writ petition is wholly baseless. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has however stated that the subsidy has since been released by the State Government recently, therefore, such information was not in the knowledge of the petitioner previously, hence, the writ petition was instituted. 4. Once the relief prayed for in the writ petition is already redressed by the authority concerned, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the present writ petition pending.
