Sinha … for the private respondent(s) The petitioner earlier approached this Court, wherein, a Co-ordinate Bench in WPA 10542 of 2022 by its order dated 26.07.2022 directed that the issues raised in the representation would be considered and necessary order be passed by the Superintendent of Police with regard to the prayer for protection. Consequently, the Superintendent of Police, Paschim Medinipur passed the following order: “1. To continue the deployment of Police in disputed place under the supervision of RT officer. 2. To visit the area by RT mobile on regular basis. 3. To exchange the mobile number with the petitioner. 4. To respond immediately if any assistance is sought by the petitioner. 5. To keep sharp vigil over the issue”. Since none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Debarati Sen (Bose), learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities. Having regard to the order passed on 24.09.2022, the Officer-in-charge of Daspur Police Station would assess whether the order dated 24.09.2022 is still in existence and, in case, the same has been withdrawn, he would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility taking place as also no untoward incident resulting in view of the earlier directions passed by the Co- ordinate Bench. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 5366 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
