Chauhan, learned Deputy Advocate General with Mr. Girish Chandra Joshi, learned Assistant Government Advocate for the State of Uttarakhand 2. Learned Deputy Advocate General would submit that pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the jurisdictional police has registered a FIR and arrested three of the accused and subsequently, has also filed a charge-sheet against the accused. 3. Per contra, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that one of the accused is absconding and he is issuing threats through courier. 4. If there is any development with the colour of illegality, the petitioner is always at liberty to place it before the Investigating Officer. The police having responded positively, the petitioner would be better served, if he were to assist the police in the investigation of any further illegal action by known or unknown persons. 5. The police shall also periodically assess, if there is any threat to the life and limb of the petitioner and act accordingly. 6. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
