Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor stated that the investigation is still pending and the charge sheet is yet to be filed. 3. As the matter pertains to the 2021 and in view of the fact that there is no stay of investigation, instead of keeping the present petition pending, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the criminal petition by directing the concerned police authority to complete the investigation in the present crime, and filed a charge sheet before the appropriate Court having jurisdiction. The said process shall be completed within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time the respondent-police are directed not to take any coercive steps as against the petitioner/accused. 3 4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.
