The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "(i) ISSUE a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the opposite parties to call an open meeting of Gram Panchayat Badi Block and Tahsil Sidhauli District Sitapur and appoint a suitable person for running the fair price shop in the village of petitioner. (ii) ISSUE a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to appoint the family member of Ex. Kotedar Raja Ram for running fair price shop in the village of petitioner." 3. Considering the fact that no meeting has been called, the writ petition is disposed off holding that whenever a meeting is called, the petitioner shall also be considered, if he applies, in accordance with law.
