Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. 2. The present petition has been filed challenging an order dated 20.04.2023 whereby the fair price shop license of the petitioner was cancelled. 3. The submission of the Counsel for the petitioner is that affidavits of various persons were taken, who were not even the cardholders of the shop in question. 4. All these issues cannot be decided in writ jurisdiction. 5. As the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy of filing an appeal is available, the present writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy. 6. In case, the petitioner files an appeal, the same shall be decided in accordance with law on merits and shall not be dismissed on limitation.
