The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "(a) Issue a Writ, order or direction in nature of CERTIORARI to quash/ set aside the impugned order dated 20-12-2024 (Annexure no.1), passed by respondent no.2 (District Magistrate Varanasi) whereby the financial and administrative powers of petitioner has been ceased." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is Gram Pradhan and the financial administrative powers have been seized by impugned order dated 20.12.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that against the show cause notice, petitioner has filed his reply, however, in the impugned order neither the reply of the petitioner has been considered nor there is any application of mind. The order has been passed in cursory manner. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that there are defects in the impugned order and the matter may be remanded back to the District Magistrate concerned. 5. In view of above, the impugned order dated 20.12.2024 passed by District Magistrate, Varanasi is set aside and the matter is remanded back to the District Magistrate, Varanasi for decision afresh in accordance with law. 6. The writ petition is allowed, accordingly.
