According to the petitioner, the property belongs to him in Survey No.775/1 in Udankudi Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District, was acquired for erecting Thermal Power Station and compensation for the acquired land has not been paid. Therefore, the instant representation has been submitted seeking compensation. 3. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the award was passed as early as on 30.06.2014 in Na.Ka.No.E2-96231-2007(Block No.2). Subsequently, a modified award was passed on 20.12.2017 in an award No.3/2017 and a compensation amount of Rs.77,364/- was paid to the petitioner on 15.02.2018 and the same was acknowledged by the petitioner. 4.
