Parties are present before the Court today with their respective counsels. 2. Smt. Nalina K., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since two months parties are together and they are leading a happy married life by forgetting the differences which had in their matrimonial life. 3. Respondent submits that she has led a happy married life since two months after joining the petitioner and therefore, she would not press the pending criminal proceedings filed under Section 125 Cr.P.C., before the Nelamangala Court. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that for the present, since the parties have reiterated their - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:20368 CRL.P No. 531 of 2024 steps and respondent has joined the matrimonial home, this Court may pass suitable orders by quashing the pending criminal proceedings. Hence, even though the prayer if for transfer proceedings from Nelamangala Court to Tumakuru Court, this Court is of the considered opinion that there is a true settlement between the parties, the very petition needs to be quashed. 5. Accordingly, placing the submission of the parties and their respective counsel, following order is passed: ORDER Petition is allowed and as per the oral submission and compromise entered into between the parties, pending proceedings in Crl.Misc.No.78/2023, on the file of Civil Judge and JMFC., Nelamangala, Bengaluru Rural District, is hereby quashed.
