Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4944 of 2025 Petitioner :- Anju Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Bal Vikas Seva Evam Pushtahar Vibhag Lko. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Om Prakash Yadav,Ankur Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos. 1 to 4. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of written instructions, has submitted that the petitioner secured only 13.02 marks in the merit list, whereas the selected candidate obtained 20.65 marks. Furthermore, respondent no. 5 possesses an additional qualification of post-graduation, which the petitioner lacks, and therefore, the selection of opposite party no. 5 has been made in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Government Order dated 21.03.2023. The written instructions submitted by the learned Standing Counsel are taken on record. Perused the record, the Government Order dated 21.03.2023, and the written instructions provided by the learned Additional Government Advocate. A perusal of the record indicates that the petitioner has not outscored respondent no. 5 on merit. The selection appears to have been conducted in accordance with law and the aforesaid Government Order, which prescribes the policies and procedures for the preparation of the select list. There appears to be no illegality in the impugned order. The petition, being devoid of merit, is accordingly dismissed. Order Date :- 6.5.2025/R.C.
