Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:25888 Court No. - 18 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4905 of 2025 Petitioner :- Puttan Lal Verma And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Addl. Chief Secy. Deptt. Of Estate Lko. And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Mahendra Nath Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Karunesh Singh Pawar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing counsel for the respondents. By this petition, the petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the opposite parties no- 2 to consider and decide the petitioner no-1 representations dated 26.5.2021 and 7.5.2024 for medical reimbursement of Rs.49162/ and the petitioner no-2 representations dated 7.7.2021, 9.11.2022, 29.3.2023, 31.5.2023 and 10.7.2023 for medical reimbursement of (Rs. 44550/+ Rs. 148290/-) total Rs. 192840/= contained as Annexure No:1,2 and 7,8 and 9 to the writ petition. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no-2 to sanction the medical reimbursement claims of the petitioners at the rate of 10% interest and proceed against the responsible employees Virendra Kumar and Ravi Bhushan Tewari for losing the secrete record of medical claims, as per the enquiry report dated 27.6.2024 conducted by the special secretary of the department." After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice if the petitioners are permitted to submit fresh representations raising their grievances to respondent no. 2, with a direction to decide the same within a stipulated period. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. Considering the above, the petitioners are directed to submit fresh representations before respondent no. 2 within two weeks from today and in case, such representations are submitted, the same shall be decided by respondent no. 2 within a further period of four weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 5.5.2025 R.C. Digitally signed by :- RAM CHANDER YADAV High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
