HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case:- SWP No. 966/2016 Liaqat Ali .....Petitioner (s) Through: None vs State of J&K and ors. .…. Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Advocate vice Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG Coram: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE ORDER 09.10.2025 01. The record reveals that the instant matter was previously listed on 19.11.2016 and now the same has come up before this Court today after almost nine years and during the intervening period, no effort has been made on behalf of the petitioner to get the instant petition listed. However, the instant matter pertains to Rehbar-e-Taleem scheme, by which, the petitioner has sought appointment in terms of the said scheme, but the said scheme had already been closed by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. None has appeared on behalf of the petitioner today and thus, the inference can be drawn that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the instant petition. 02. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the instant petition with the efflux of time has been rendered infructuous as the relief prayed for in the instant petition cannot be granted as the ReT Scheme has since been closed. 03. In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed for non prosecution. (WASIM SADIQ NARGAL) JUDGE JAMMU 09.10.2025 Riya Kochhar S. No. 139
