PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has arraigned as accused No.11 in Crime No.274 of 2020 for alleged offences under Section 447, 379 read with 34 of IPC, 21(1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a false complaint was registered against the petitioner and the police after investigating have filed final report/charge sheet and the Investigating Officer has categorically mentioned that no case could be made out against the petitioner herein and as such sought for deleting the petitioner from the case. It is submitted that though the final report/charge sheet is filed before the Court on 24.03.2023 vide SR.No.1660, the same is not taken on file by the Court for the reasons not known to the petitioner. It is submitted that the pendency of this case is tampering the petitioner’s prospects for applying for any jobs. 4. Considering the submissions, the case against the petitioner which was registered vide Crime No.274 of 2020 is hereby quashed. 5. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. 6.
