1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arraigned as A.12 in Crime No.416 of 2023 of Ongole I town Police Station, Prakasam District, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 464, 467, 468, 471 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, on the strength of the complaint of the 2nd respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a practicing Advocate and represented the other accused in a civil suit filed against the 2nd respondent and her family. As such, the petitioner was falsely implicated in the present crime.
4. Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Ongole I Town Police Station, Prakasam District, is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.416 of 2025 without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner. This would not
3 CRL.P. No.3610 OF 2025 preclude the investigation officer to file a charge sheet or final report after the completion of the investigation.
5. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed off.
