This application has been filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner, namely, Jiten Sharma has prayed for releasing him on bail, after he was arrested in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 354/2025. 3. Today is the 60th day of detention of the petitioner in judicial custody. The charge sheet has not yet been filed. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. Since today is the 60th day of detention, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner is entitled to default bail. 6. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 7. It is hereby directed that the petitioner namely, Jiten Sharma, who was arrested in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 354/2025, shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (Metro), Guwahati.
