PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.404/2024 of Bhogapuram Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 318(4) of the BNS and Sections 21(1)(2)(3), 22, 23 of T.B.U.D.S. Act. 2. Case of the prosecution, in brief is that the accused collected huge amounts to a tune of Rs.6,00,00,000/- (Rupees six crores only) by organizing unauthorized chits and depositing the money from the 2 public in and around Bhogapuram Mandal and the defacto complainant, who is one of such depositors, reported that A1 asked him and his villagers to join in chits and believing his words the defacto complainant and others joined in the said chits and paid an amount of approximately Rs.6,00,00,000/- but the accused did not return their amounts and deceived them. 3. Heard. Perused the record. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that this is the 2nd bail application and the first bail application was dismissed on 26.3.2025 and that the petitioner has been in judicial custody from 26.02.2025 and that the petitioner is a lady aged about 42 years and prays to grant bail to the petitioner herein. 5. On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that some more witnesses are yet to be examined and so far, no amount has been seized from the possession of accused. 6. Perused the previous bail order. On seeing from the record, it is noticed that there are no changed circumstances from the previous bail application to this application and huge amount is involved in this crime and as stated by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that several victims statements are yet to be recorded. 3 7. Considering the serious nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner herein at this stage. 8.
