The petitioner has applied for issuance of passport to the opposite party no. 2, however, the same has not been issued on account of pendency of criminal proceedings. It is said that now, in the criminal case, final report has been submitted by the police after investigation, which has been accepted by the Magistrate concerned. A copy of the said order is annexed at page no. 97. Let the petitioner inform the opposite party no. 2 about these facts whereupon he shall consider and decide the application of the petitioner as per law within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. While informing the opposite party no. 2, the petitioner shall file a copy of the final report submitted by the police, which has been accepted by the Magistrate concerned on 28.1.2025. With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
