It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that order under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 was passed on 16.02.2020 and the said order was carried out and stones were affixed. The private respondents have removed the pillar, so affixed pursuant to the order of the Sub-Divisional Officer. Thereupon, applications under Section 22/23 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 was moved by the petitioner on 07.6.2024 and 13.6.2024, which are pending consideration before respondent No.2. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent No.2 to decide the applications dated 07.06.2024 and 13.06.2024 of the petitioner in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
