Petitioner’s father stated to have been working as Office Subordinate in 2^^ respondent-District Collectorate and he was retired on medical invalidation grounds on 31.03.2018. Later, application dated 04.04.2018 was submitted to 2"^ respondent for providing compassionate appointment to petitioner, followed by proper application dated 14.08.2018. Petitioner is daughter of the retired employee and she is also having two younger sisters. No objection certificates were also furnished along with the applications. Further, based on the said applications, the 3”^^ respondent stated to th have issued proceedings dated 14.09.2018, calling upon the 4 respondent to conduct inquiry and submit a report enabling to consider the applications. Later, the 2''^ respondent, by letter dated 31.01.2019, addressed to petitioner, called upon to produce certain documents for processing the request. Petitioner stated to have submitted all the required documents. Despite the same, no further orders are passed. Being aggrieved, she preferred present writ petition. 3 HCGH,J W.P. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice to direct the 2'^^ respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders 4. on petitioner’s applications dated 04.04.2018 and 14.08.2018, for the purpose of considering compassionate appointment. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for 5. respondents, on the other hand, submits that as necessary information has already been gathered and secured from both the petitioner and from other sources, the 2"^ respondent would pass appropriate orders considering eligibility of petitioner for compassionate appointment, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.661, General Administration (SER.G) Department, dated 23.10.2008. in view of aforesaid submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the 2'^^ respondent to consider petitioner’s applications 6. dated 04.04.2018 and 14.08.2018, for the purpose of compassionate appointment, in terms of G.O.Ms.No.661, General Administration (SER.G) Department, dated 23.10.2008, and pass appropriate speaking orders, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
