ORDER 09.10.2025
1. On the last date of hearing, i.e. 25.09.2025, when the learned counsel for the petitioners was pointed out that this petition, with efflux of time, has been rendered infructuous for the reason that what was essentially sought for in this petition was a fresh advertisement for filling up of four posts against which the private respondents were appointed and that the relief was not capable being granted at this stage. It is for the reason that after the aforesaid selection, several posts have been advertised for selection from time to time.
2. As a matter of fact, some of the petitioners have participated in the subsequent selections and made the grade.
3. The counsel for the petitioners, however, sought a short adjournment on the last date to seek instructions in the matter. However, today, neither the petitioners nor their counsel came present to report instructions or to argue the matter on the merits. Serial No. 08
2 SWP No. 2273/2011
4. It seems that the petitioners have lost interest to pursue this infructuous petition. As such, dismissed for non-prosecution.
