With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ proceedings, Ms.K.S.Bharathi, District Environmental Engineer, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, Nagercoil, is present before this Court. 4/7 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.9061 of 2019 3. The learned counsel for the Pollution Control Board, on instructions, would submit that inspection was conducted and that out of 14 units, show cause notice has been issued in respect of eight units, which have failed to produce any valid licence. 4. Since unlicensed ice plants are identified, the Pollution Control Board is bound to take action. It is brought to the notice of this Court that show cause notice has already been issued. Thus, all enforcement actions are to be continued for removal of such unauthorised ice plants. The respondents are directed to complete the said exercise within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
