Case No. 144 of 2024, arising out of Complaint Case No.1055 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 409, 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 504 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Giridih. Petitioner is alleged to have embezzled Rs. 74 Lakhs, which was transferred to his account by the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the informant has transferred the aforesaid amount in the account of the petitioner for business purposes. Learned counsel for the opposite party No.2 submitted that petitioner is an accused in as many as nine cases of similar nature. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
