The petitioners are arraigned as Accused Nos.1, 4 to 8 in FIR No.16 of 2025, on the file of Machavaram Police Station, Palnadu District, for the alleged offence under Sections 323, 324, 307, 506, 509 read with Section 34 of the IPC. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the instant crime has been registered against the petitioner/Accused Nos.1, 4 to 8 purely at the instigation of the ruling party leaders. The petitioners have been made scapegoats by the police officials under the influence of said leaders. 4. It is further submitted that the continuation of criminal proceedings against the petitioners is nothing but an abuse of the process of law. 5. Considering the submissions, the Criminal Petition is disposed off by directing the Station House Officer, Machavaram Police Station, Palnadu District, not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners while conducting the investigation in FIR No.16 of 2025.
