The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers :- “(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to measure and to complete the area as per revenue record of the said agriculture land. (II) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to decide the representation which is moved by petitioner (as contained Annexure no-1 of writ petition). (III) Issue any other order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. 2025:UHC:179 2 (IV) Award cost of the petitioner.” 2. Heard Mr. Faizan Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Devendra Singh Bohra, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent. 3. Mr. Faizan Ali, Advocate, has contended that the petitioner is the bhumidhar of 0.2540 hectares of khasra no. 212 in khata no. 00196 situated at village Mohanpura Mohammadpur, Pargana and Tehsil Roorkee, District Haridwar. She had filed an application before the revenue authority for measurement of her said land. No action was taken on the said application. Therefore, she submitted a representation dated 06.11.2024 (annexure no.1 to the writ petition) to the respondent, which is still pending. 4. Mr. Faizan Ali, Advocate, has requested to decide the present writ petition directing the respondent to decide the said representation dated 06.11.2024 as expeditiously as possible. 5. Mr. Devendra Singh Bohra, Advocate, has requested six weeks’ time to decide the said application. 6. With the consent of both the parties, the present Writ Petition (WPMS No. 3630 of 2024) is 2025:UHC:179 3 disposed of directing the respondent to decide the said representation dated 06.11.2024 (annexure no.1 to the writ petition) as expeditiously as possible, but not later than six weeks from the date of production of the certified copy of this order. 7.
