This application has been filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner, namely, Janggoumang Kilong has prayed for grant of regular bail, after he was arrested in connection with Satgaon P.S. Case No. 0087/2025. 3. A girl below 3 years of age has alleged that the petitioner had touched her private part. Because of her tender age the statement of the girl could not be recorded under Section 183 of the BNS, 2023. 4. Mr. Goswami has objected to the prayer for bail. 5. After going through the case diary, it appears that the allegation brought against the present petitioner is somewhat vague. 6. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 7. This Court is of the opinion that the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody for any further period of time. 8. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 9. It is hereby directed that the petitioner Janggoumang Kilong, who was arrested in connection with Satgaon P.S. Case No. 0087/2025, shall be released on bail of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (Metro) at Guwahati.
